Sokkotreffit – kuolevaa kansanperinnettä?

Minä rakasta kunnon sokkotreffejä … okei, okei … rakasta treffejä kuin treffejä. Mutta sokkotreffeissä on oma jännityksensä. Ennen toisen tapaamista sitä pyörittelee mielessään, että minkälainen toinen mahtaa olla ja mistä sitä alkaisi juttelemaan … yms. yms. Adrenaliinia erittyy vereen oikein olan takaa ja muutenkin on perhosia vatsassa. Monet eivät tästä pidä, mutta minä suorastaan nautin siitä.

Nyt kuitenkin sokktreffien perinne on pahasti uhattuna pahamaineisen 3G:n toimesta. Videopuheluiden mahdollisuus antaa ihmisille mahdollisuuden kurkistaa ääneen puhelun takana. Valokuvillahan voi tunnetusti huijata vaikka kuinka ja paljon, mutta suora videokuva ei jätä mitään peittoon … ellei osaa paria kikkaa. Mutta toisaalta, tämähän vain alleviivaa mediassa uimisen taitoa vastaisuudessa [via SmartMobs].

Se, että parantaako tämä ollenkaan ”sen oikean” löytymistä, on kysymys johon en ota mitään kantaa. Niin iloisten kuin ikävienkin yllätysten kohtaaminen elämässä edellyttää tuntemattomiin vesiin sukeltamista.

  2. Juuri tuon takia minä sovin sokkotreffit aina baariin. Siinä voi sitten yrittää juoda toista kauniimmaksi jos sikseen tulee. Valitettavasti kaikista kansantaruista huolimatta se ei ole onnistut kertaakaan.

    Mutta toisaalta, olen aina ollut sitä mieltä, että aina pitää antaa toiselle mahdollisuus näyttää oma hurmaava itsensä, jos on kerran sokkotreffeille asti raahautunut.

    Herrasmies tietenkin tarjoaa ne neljä tequilaa. Tai sitten pidättäytyy sivistyneesti siiderissä. Ja sitä paitsi, parin oluen jälkeen kummatkin ovat sen verran rentoja jännityksestä, että alkaa normaalimpi olotila vallata alaa.
